16 years ago my Dad passed away. Not a day goes by when I don't think about him still. The grief is lessened and occurs more infrequently, yet still comes in irregular waves. I'll always be a daddy's girl.

Third snow day of the year. I’m not a fan of winter or snow, but it still is beautiful. There’s something sacred, peaceful, beautiful, & all-enveloping about a weekend snow day when you can just curl up in blankets near a window with a hot beverage & just take it all in!
