Tomorrow I get to see the perfected papers (because it is after wine-time tonight!), but the number of students who talked excitedly about being taken seriously as writers is both heartening and … kinda sad. But the papers are gonna be GREAT

Looking for advice, resources, and textbook recommendations on
technical & professional writing.
I'm tutoring someone with extensive software development expertise who's now looking to improve her technical writing skills. She's also dyslexic, and any resources specific to strategies and pedagogies for adult learners with dyslexia would be appreciated.
It's been a long while since I've taught composition, and I was hoping the #rhetcomp community would have some suggestions. I appreciate your help!
Please feel free to tag anyone who you'd think I could benefit from following, too.

His struggles with writer’s block led him to create a process that favored an expressive, personal approach over rigid academic conventions that often stifled students.
For those interested in writing methods, Peter Elbow’s work can be seen as an interesting shift in pedagogy from the 1970s. Interestingly it relies on pieces of practices pre-dating him which inform commonplace book and related zettelkasten methods. For my own files, from the obituary, it looks like he was using an IBM Selectric I in some of his early work.
"The doubting game represents the kind of thinking most widely honored and taught in our culture. It’s sometimes called “critical thinking ...
In contrast, the believing game is the disciplined practice of trying to be as welcoming or accepting as possible to every idea we encounter" --Peter Elbow, "The Believing Game: Methodological Believing"
