Really excited that the Mid-Year Festival, organized by folks from Equity Unbound and others helping out too, is back for 2023! I found last year's event incredibly impactful in terms of learning, connecting with others, rejuvenating, and playing! Starts next week and runs throughout June, July, and August. When did US News start slipping like this?

So US News ranks Florida as #1 in education.

But as they say: test scores are mediocre and "nearly half" of high school graduates are college ready, SAT-wise.

How low is the bar, then? Less than half of students "are college ready" and that makes the state number 1?

FLORIDA is the best public education has to offer in America right now? Seriously?

I have found that fewer students are completing #studentcourseevaluations #SETs (which are awfully flawed + not very helpful).
