Die Entdeckerin des inneren Erdkerns, Inge Lehmann, schloss ihr Studium erst mit 32 Jahren ab und veröffentlichte die Hälfte ihrer Publikationen erst nach ihrer Pensionierung (die letzte mit 99 !).
