Das hat länger gedauert als gedacht: Endlich habe ich meine alte Wing-Commander-Fanseite http://www.shotglass.de von meinem uralten selbstgeschriebenen CMS auf eine statische Seite umgestellt. Da keine Updates mehr passieren, war ein CMS nicht nötig.
Dadurch habe ich auch Erfahrungen mit @11ty gesammelt und mich mit SSGs befasst. Faszinierend, wie wir von statischen zu hyperdynamischen wieder zurück zu statischen Seiten gegangen sind.

I'm checking out the "Wing Commander Overhaul Mod" by AllTinker. This actually works really well on a virtual 486DX-100MHz. By default, the game would run way too fast on such a powerful machine. But it's working with this mod. Very cool! Thanks to @glc for letting me know about this.

A 386 at 25MHz and 4MB RAM is the perfect system for playing the original Wing Commander. The game was super sensitive to the CPU speed and often ran way too fast on modern CPUs... like a 486DX! 😂
