Currently working on a a kind of web app wrapper for 11ty that handles both editing and publishing a static site. It's nearing the stage where I can actually start to test it out, so I'm wondering if any of the #indieWeb folks have any good recommendations for cute html layouts which are free to use and edit (Creative Commons, public domain, MIT, etc). Additionally, they need to be fairly simple to implement in 11ty, so not too many side boxes or complicated elements that need to be manually edited.

Here's a preview of what I've got so far (ignore the messy interface, it'll be cleaner soon)

The nice thing about using the same file structure and tools for different community websites (see https://hamatti.org/posts/community-websites-with-eleventy/) is that when I want to add similar things to all sites, I can make them in one and just copy paste files over to other projects and they work.

#11ty keeps surprising me with it's flexibility and the way it can work with YAML/frontmatter. For example, I decided I wanted to add a navigation group for a few pages on my site, and just configured 11ty to support reading a new navGroup and navGroupOrder YAML field along with a nav true/false YAML, and now it works. Cool stuff.
