As the world acts to stabilize oil prices, Canada sees a potential windfall
Canada agreed with 31 other nations on Wednesday to release strategic oil reserves to try to control soaring oil prices. Canada stands to benefit if prices remain $20 to $30 above forecasts made before the start of the war in the Persian Gulf. But if oil climbs too high, it risks sparking a global recession.

I mentioned that the mushroom I posted earlier was found at the base of a fallen pine. Here is said pine, having taken an oak tree with it at the same time. The oak is still rooted, and the barb wire fence has been partly absorbed by the oak trunk as it has grown, so I may be able to stand it up again as a fence post with appropriate lopping. Unfortunately, I'm not equipped to deal with the pine, so will have to get a tree surgeon in, or else convince the farmer on whose land it is now resting to chop it up for me.
