Has anyone else read The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower? It feels like a period drama in journal form.

I'm on volume 4 and REALLY enjoying them, on the recommendation of a friend. The first was my least favorite but also the shortest, and I'm very glad I gave volume 2 a try because I'm obsessed now.
