When I read that one (U.S.A.) venture capitalist largely bought out the founders and an earlier (German) venture capitalist, and then went on to do a re-brand and re-organization (It has already been turned into a subsidiary of another company.) only to make redundancies a year later, I became able to make a shrewd guess.
