Once I was teleported to a 3rd party site that republished old #Usenet postings in the WWW. It took me a while until I realized that I was reading my own posting. 🤓👴

OK, if anyone knows about this, it's the folks on Mastodon:

way before the #SCP Foundation wiki, before #Warehouse13 TV series, even before #GURPS #Warehouse23 RPG book, there way a file shared on #Usenet detailing various weird, funny, and conspirational objects hidden inside a secret giant government warehouse.

Can anyone share a copy of that file or point me in a direction I could download it?

Amazed that the `tin` usenet news reader is still around and updated and that it is a thousand times better than any GUI I've used over the past year since I'm running my own news server again.

Et puis, #Python, c'est vraiment naze : un langage où, quand tu remplaces un caractère invisible par un autre caractère invisible, bhé PAF ça ne marche plus devrait être interdit par les instances appropriées.

D'autre part, comparer #bash à d'autres trucs, c'est comme comparer ton #skateboard à ma #mariokart. Ça n'a aucun sens sauf dans la tranche horaire réservé à un #apéro sérieux.

Dessutom fanns File Transfer Protocol (FTP) för filhantering och Telnet för fjärrinloggning för att användas via NCP. FTP lanserades 1973 och Telnet redan 1969.

About ⅓ century ago a young me procrastinated something else away by counting the gaps in the interview in "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) and calculating its overall time - which by then seemingly nobody else had done for another ¼ century.
