Old operating theatre lights. I found these inside an old 1950s surgical pavilion of the old abandoned North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-On-Trent. Sadly, these are probably in the skip now; these buildings have been demolished.
I explored this place many times over the years, as it was close to my home.

Christian Reister (1972) lives and works in Berlin. He began taking photographs in 2001 and mainly captures people and life in urban areas. After ten years of shooting in colour, Christian Reister now photographs exclusively in black and white. His main focus is currently Berlin’s nightlife, on which he has already published several books.

In Spanish, "milanesa" refers to this style and also means "cutlet", so a "milanesería" is a restaurant specializing in serving cutlets and Milanese style food.
In this restaurant in the Roma Norte colonia of Mexico City, their "mascots" were Mila the chicken, and Nesa, the cow. Quite clever! The food was delish.
