Bei mir/uns in Oberbayern auf dem Land feiern wir anstelle „Tanz in den Mai“ das „Maibaum-Aufstellen“. Ein wunderbarer Brauch bei dem Jung und Alt zusammenkommen und Spaß am Leben haben. An diesem Wochenende darf ich einen Trachtenverein den ganzen Tag über fotografisch begleiten.
Here in the countryside of Upper Bavaria, instead of the ‘Dance into May’, we celebrate the ‘putting up the maypole’. It’s a wonderful tradition where young and old come together and enjoy life. This weekend, I’ll be spending the whole day photographing this tradition.
