Bought a slightly #used #laptop #computer for one of my elder relatives using the money from selling one my most beloved #filter #pedal #Protostar. It was roughly the same amount and the money was still on my trading account, waiting for the withdraw. After a full reset these computers are more than capable for casual web usage, utube vids, photo library and document management for years to come but it has to be one of good #quality and highly #upgradable models like Lenovo Thinkpad series.

Happy to say that the #HestiaPi clicky edition is back in stock.

I put together 5 units yesterday. I have to wait for some #RaspberryPi boards, temperature sensors and screens to come in before I can fully test each unit, but if someone ordered one today I could mix and match parts from the silent model that I have ready to go.

It feels good to have built up this level of inventory. I want to keep giving people a choice of #sustainable, #upgradable, #OpenSource #hardware!

Dear #lazyweb, I have a really nice mobile workstation that I love but I'd like a #laptop that I can just throw in my bag more easily than my 17" monster. I used to have a #lenovo #x230 that I think is basically the ideal form factor with a really good keyboard.

Does a anyone still make a laptop that is #upgradable and #repairable and has good specs? The small laptops I've seen are all pretty much garbage, performance wise. I want at least 32gb of ram, and ideally 2 PCIe m.2 slots.
