I bought it for CDN $300. I bought a new battery and upgraded the SSD for another $200. Getting someone to repair it would probably be another $200.
That would put me a third of the way towards a #Framework laptop, which I could fix myself.

Johannes KastlOK, funny thing. This was not caused by anything in the UEFI, like some setting I set wrong. This was caused by a faulty miniDP-to-Displayport cable. Replacing the cable and suddenly I have UEFI boot screen and everything after that visible on both VGA and Displayport outputs.

This effing "FE" Samsung POC drives me bloody insane. Half an hour of drawing dumped because it ran out of available memory. Again. Turns out the autosave hadn't worked, either, for the same reason.
Over it, can't afford anything better (Aussie pricing is insane), and don't trust direct-from-China units — except *maybe* the Lenovo gear.
