My #Homescreen on Fairphone 6 with /e/OS.

The apps around the clock:
- IronFox (Firefox fork)
- AntennaPod (podcasts)
- Fairphone Camera
- Fossify Gallery
- Fossify Calendar
- FossWallet (tickets)
- Proton VPN
- AFWall+ (firewall widget)

The app beneath:
- Chooser (chosing start player, play order and splitting teams)

The row beneath:
- Tusky (Mastodon)
- Mail (K-9 fork by /e/OS)
- PupSpace (puppy website, opening in Fennec, a Firefox fork)
- Barq (connecting furries)

The row at the bottom, all in green:
- Fossify Telephone
- Fossify Contacts
- Fossify Messages (SMS)
- Element X (Matrix messenger)
- Conversations (XMPP messenger)

The background is changed every third day by the Muzei app, with Studio Ghibli addon. As app launcher, I'm using Lawnchair, not only because of the genius pun 😁

Except the Barq app (and the currently not seen Eurofurence app) all apps are installed via open source app store F-Droid 😃

Das Fairphone 6 sieht mittlerweile einfach immer ekelhaft aus. 😩 Egal wie oft man es am Tag putzt. Unglückliche bzw. misslungene Materialauswahl. Dieses gummierte Zeug ist einfach immer widerlich. Ärgere mich enorm darüber. Und dann auch noch die schwarze Version gekauft. Orrrr..... 😫 Hat jemand zufällig die weiße Version? @jshusky I've heard #joplin a lot, I'll check it out soon.

I also switched to a degoogled #fairphone gen. 6 with /e/os.

I was very surprised on how different the content is that I watch now, the #algorithm was manipulating me much more then I knew then.

I'll make more posts about a more elaborate setup to replace spotify, netflix, disney, prime, etc. in the future.

After four years, the battery life of my #fairphone 4 was noticeably getting worse, and with even moderate use it wouldn't hold its charge for a day.

So what did I do? Bought a new battery for €25 which will hopefully see me through the next four years. Repairability and modularity rock.

Fairphone Moments: Switch to distraction-free digital minimalism

Interesting find on F-Droid: I was able to install it on my Fairphone 3+ running the latest /e/OS. So far I just triggered it as a regular app. If I get it right, this works as a launcher. While I have not figured out – for lack of The Switch on any FP other than the FP6 – any specific gesture inside the app to go back to the default launcher, just choosing an app (e.g. Camera) in Fairphone Moments takes you to that app (as intended) and then allows to return to the default launcher as usual...

Hat noch jemand das Problem keine #App #installieren zu können?
Oder hatte es und kennt die Lösung?

Habe habe ein #fairphone5 mit #eOS.
Seit ein paar Tagen schon kann ich aus der App Lounge keine App mehr installieren.
Updates funktionieren weiterhin.

Nun ist auch der #AuroraStore betroffen. Von dort funktionierte es noch.

#fdroid funktioniert.

System ist aktuell und auch ein Neustart brachte nichts.
