Just had a lovely meeting in the alpine bar in #Bournemouth on a very wet December evening with m'colleagues from the little team that made the town centre summit two weeks ago today. Change can feel weird and uncomfortable, but it feels too like we took the first step for my brilliant and frustrating home town.
Helping to creatively make the place where we live and feel we should be, that's how we make the futures we want.

I often refer to the storytelling idea of “emotional truth”. But considering a session I’m hosting at Humber Eco Fest in November with the Association of Sustainability Practitioners, I found myself thinking this week about land – and wondering what my own identity really feels connected to.
One story we all think we're in is re-enforced every day. And it looks like endless conflict and drama.
You know there certainly are some hours to just survive. But that's no way to live a whole life. Or make the difference.
So, if you're a leader, I'm going to suggest you go find the people who can unlock some world-changing perspective.
