Master Grade (Escala 1/100, ya más caros, mucho detalle, mucho tiempo, no recomendables para novatos)
Los Master Grade es ya meterse en cosas importantes. Los reconoceréis porque las cajas son menos rectangulares que las de los High Grade y por el logo de Master Grade (MG, dorado, en una esquina) en la caja.
Modelos bastante grandes, con mucho detalle y normalmente con un armazón interno sobre el que montas el resto de piezas es sorprendente por la gran posabilidad que tienen (con muy poco retoque un straight build – esto es, montarlo según las instrucciones sin modificar nada ni pintar ni panelar- tiene un aspecto fantástico).
Eso si, la caja y el bicho empiezan ya a ocupar mucho. Si un High Grade suele ser un robote de entre 12-15 cm un Master Grade ya pasa de 18cms…
Espero que tengáis hueco en casa...
Os pongo imagen de uno de los Master Grade más grandes y complejos que hay el Gundam EX-S (Gundam Sentinel pa los amigos) que no solo es grande de narices y tiene más piezas que un coche... es que el bicho SE TRANSFORMA...

Had a ton of fun building this, quite the assortment of weapons supplied and sturdy enough for various battle poses 😗
Going to leave it decal-free for the time being as I’m reminded of the mecha designs from the original anime 🤖
Then change it up in the not-too-distant future when I get that itch for a bit more detail… 🔎😌

No decals yet, and I'm considering painting the internal cage structure gunmetal (although I don't plan to display its inner frame). The 3(!) pilot figures that came with it have to be painted, too. Long term, it'll probably live on my desk at home or at work.

MG GTO RX-78-2 (Complete)
I finally finished all the weapons for the #MasterGrade #GundamTheOrigin #RX_78_2. This thing has so many extras. I didn't even show off any of the effect pieces in this photoshoot. The shoulder cannon is a neat addition to the design (compared to MSG), and I really like the new beam rifle. Overall, a fantastic kit.
I do still need to paint the pilot figures, but at this point I have a handful that I'll paint all at once.
MG GTO RX-78-2
No full photoshoot yet, since I haven't finished all its weapons, but here's a brief look at #MasterGrade #GundamTheOrigin #rx_78_2. The LED looks really good in decent light, and it's super bright in the dark (maybe a bit too bright; might paint the inside of the top of its head to keep the light from bleeding through).
I won't complain too much about the hands (again), but I do wish they had included some fixed pose holding hands.
This was my first #MasterGrade kit: the MG Z'Gok (Commander Type) from 2003. He was a super fun kit, and the first one I've used dry decals on. They look like they were painted on! I chose not to paint the internal pilot figure, but a quick oil wash brought out most of the details that would matter anyway.
These are also my first pictures in my homemade light box, although they were taken later in the day than I would like (less light).

had a ton of fun planning, building, and painting this kit. definitely the most intensive customization i’ve done so far, but i’m very happy with it. as always the master grade hands are incredibly well-engineered and equally finicky. i lost a pinky before i had even finished painting the frame. additionally, the head/backpack assembly is…a little loose at times, and the shield mount point on the backpack arm might as well not be there. but the looks are undeniably good.
