Three layers over the blue. neutral gray 5, neutral gray 2, and titanium white, in varying areas based on shading, so I had to start from the bottom and work my way up.

On the other hand, it all came out looking really fucking good, imo, so I'll take it.

Painting stripes freehand is a pain in the ass, but I'm getting better at it. Hardly had to do any repainting on these at all. We'll see if that holds as I brighten the upper surfaces and apply the red.
