When I started on Mastodon as another Twitter-refugee almost half my feed was people talking about Twitter and Pining for the Fjords - even if it was evident even at that point that the Parrot had joined the bleedin' choir invisible.
Anyway, I can go for days now without ever hearing a squeak about Twitter.
Some things do get better.
☝️ For comparison, the chart for absolute numbers (again without any actual numbers 😉).
Again the caveat, that I don't "see" a substantial amount of traffic from Mastodon/Fediverse. It's at least the same as the traffic from Twitter, I think.
But the issue will be fixed soon, can't wait to see, where we really stand:

College football conferences: super confusing, ultimately made up, and surprisingly important to the future of entertainment. Oh, and if you haven’t seen The YouTube Effect yet, this podcast will still make total sense, but you should add it to your watch list for sure.
BTW, I know we have seen a swell of new users overall at the #Mastodon network...but I can note that a swell of new users daily have happened at this server too.
This sever is barely big enough that what we see here usually mirrors the bigger numbers.
(we are about .14% of all Mastodon network size)
And one or two clear spam accounts we prune out, but not many. Seems like this last week has seen a natural upward swell of new folks.
