1/2 SOOO anyway #TStorms, rain...needed milk. Out to stores and #WTF... #Gecko pokes head up in between hood flare and windshield. Now I don't know if Geckos have " looks" but this was certainly eye contact and much " do something or I will die" scenario. For reference lots of spray, biker in front, no helmet, tshirt, backpack. So road rash precautions, rain , gecko. Guilt kicking in like there is a child duct taped to the roof.
#FFS. Pull over ? Negative. People are driving like idiots...
Going into the hail of the supercell storm that I was chasing in the valley around Firebaugh, CA. This wasn’t even the center of the precipitation core. Honestly, I started to worry about hail damage to my car or even a window shattering! This was the most severe hail (marble-size) I’ve seen in person. Scary but exciting! What an awesome storm chase in the Central Valley! Let me give you guys a glimpse of my chase… Places traveled included Firebaugh and all the way down to Fresno. Gotta love storm season in California! (3-12-2023) #CAwx #thunderstorms #stormChase #weatherman #severeWeather #March2023 #tstorms
#Tstorms blowin in from the North . Lotsa rumbling but no rain yet...
#NOAA / #NWS warning about severe #t-storms going through KC metro right now. 60MPH winds, hail the size of pennies. Radar-indicated.
#NOAA / #NWS is cranking tonight. 48 messages about severe #t-storms, flash flooding, low-lying / river-adjacent flooding in #KS and #MO in the past three hours.

Earlier #tornado watch for parts of the KC area continues until 01:00 CDT.
Whew. My work cell has around 35 #NOAA / #NWS alerts about #t-storms and tornadoes in #KS and #MO this evening. If you are there, make sure your weather alert radio works.
This weekend has been a time of #t-storms and #tornado warnings in #KS and #MO. I think I even saw one for parts of #LA and #MS.
.
I've seen this in December before, so it is not too unusual, but it is still unexpected.
#NOAA / #NWS sent me over 100 more alerts in the past 24 hours concerning #t-storms, heavy rain, flooding in #KS and #MO. Things seem to be slowing down a little, but if you’re in either of those states or in a nearby state, be alert in low-lying areas and near streams and rivers.
#NOAA /#NWS alerts continuing for severe #t-storms, heavy rain, flooding across my watched areas of #KS and #MO. 47 alerts in the past 24 hours and still going. Low-lying areas, areas near streams/rivers, there were even tornado warnings.
.
There's a stripe from #OK to #WI (including parts of KS, MO, the very NW corner of #AR, the very SE corner of #NE, eastern #IA, western #IL, parts of #MN) where floods are likely over the next few days.
