Going into the hail of the supercell storm that I was chasing in the valley around Firebaugh, CA. This wasn’t even the center of the precipitation core. Honestly, I started to worry about hail damage to my car or even a window shattering! This was the most severe hail (marble-size) I’ve seen in person. Scary but exciting!
