Thinking again about buying a Black Lady figurine to go with my Mercy Overwatch one. That said, $300+USD is a taaaad rich for my blood. Especially since I'd want to open it. The one open box on eBay had no hands.

Anyway, there's a cheap gatchapon one that I'm considering. It's not articulate, but still. Evil lady.

2025 has been very Pink so far. In January I had the Black Lady, coincidding with my Queer Villain arc. I love the menace in her eyes. For Valentine's Day, I went with a non-corrupted look. That Chibiusa is sweet as shit.

They're both as Safe for Work as any image of an anime woman is, but I marked them sensitive just in case any images could be iffy.

Electronics Update.

PC: Repair shop has my hard drive and is installing it.
Car: Mechanic first grandbaby was born, so he's out for a bit
Phone: Out of warranty. PC Repair shop doesn't work on phones. Will take it to the place the manufacturer suggests and see if it can be repaired/how much. Barring that, if/how much to retrieve the data. | If it can't/isn't worth repairing, I'm going with a Samsung A15 5g. It's the cheapest of the ones I'm looking at and sits in the middle of overall power and camera quality.

Other things
Work PC: It randomly shut off last night. Hoping that was a fluke.
Switch: Works fine. *Knocks on wood*
PS5: Have not booted since this started/PS+ expired.

~ Thank you to everyone whom gave me advice. ~

On Longform Writing, or “How Do I Do This Again?”

I have not done much longform writing these past several years. “Longform” in my case being, “more than a page for fun.” I used to do m...

Back on my bullshit.

Christmas is over enough that the Christmas wallpapers have been taken down. Been vibing with Wicked Lady again ever since I bought that necklace.

Trans lady identifies with a character who's rage and sorrow transforms them into an evil babe? What?

Huh. I already posted elsewhere tonight that I'm down for some henching if it comes with a hot babe TF.

So for now, this is my wallpaper setup.

(Lotta info in the alt text.)

Got my computer back from the repair shop! $456 later and it does seem a far faster machine. I don't know of its the new SSD, the fresh install of Windows, or the fact I've been using a potato for a month, but I'll take it.

The TouchPad seems to work better too.

Haven't changed the styling yet, enjoying the ambiance of default Win10 for a bit. We'll, I did enlarge the font, and make the cursor larger and pink so I can see it, but the default background and light gray theme are still there.

Downloaded a dozen apps thus far, but I think to try and keep it light, I'm going try and use PWAs for anything that will only work while online. One app I'm feeling is actually superior to the app atm. We'll see if that sentiment stays around.

Ooh, StartPage is listing TMDB (The Movie Database), a community driven alternative to Amazon-owned IMDB, now. That's very cool. Thus far I'm still using IMDB more professionally, (it lists more obscure trivia that I get asked about than TMDB atm,) but for my own use, TMDB has been great.

Very cool.

Talked with the computer shop guys. I'm getting 2/3 things fixed. Battery was $120 which...hmm. So no new battery.

They'll get the WiFi working, (atm he thinks it's crossed signals from different programs,) and replace/upgrade the SSD. The C Drive is placed between the motherboard and keyboard, so he has to remove the whole motherboard to get at it, thus charging extra. When I looked up to do it myself, the difficulty rating I saw was essentially, "pain in the ass," so I never bothered. He'll also clone the old drive onto the new, which I wouldn't have been able to do.

All in all it stands at $360 at the moment.

Not great, but significantly enough less that I opted for it instead of just buying a new computer.
