So this is a creed of the Exodus Fleet in this book said for a newborn child. What I find interesting, beyond the parallels and contrasts to things like the Nicaean Creed is that it fits rather closely to my character in Destiny 2's beliefs. Perhaps more of a were and will be again mentality, given the fall of the Golden Age and the end of the Era of Light and Darkness.
Also...not so much the bloody ways bit. Being a Guardian involves a lot of blood/other ichors. Most of it not yours.

I know Derivative AI has become a lot better in the past 12 months, but I think our Summer Reading Program's banner uses human made art. The banner last year was very obviously AI and I was not happy about that.
Our theme this year is the national one, Color Our World. Not as poignant as 2017's "Build a Better World", but it still tracks. But the art looks like coloring book art, so black on white. I don't know if that's easier or harder to extrude and not look uncanny.
Started reading Girl Genius again, (I fell off around the last(?) side story,) and it got me inspired to do some mad science. I bought the ebook of the third novel, and then stripped the DRM off of it.

Looking for my next book, I didn't vibe with anything on my TBR here. So I went onto the Queer Liberation Library and looked for books there and ran into The Red Scholar's Wake by @[email protected] and remembered I wanted to read that. So that's what I picked!
The QLL's copy is checked out atm, so I got it from one of the other libraries I have a card with, but still. I found it there. <3

Kinda feel in a cyberpunk mood. While I still have plenty to read by William Gibson , I wanted something more overtly queer. So I found #BangBangBodhisattva by Audrey Wood. Hope I enjoy it.
