Suggestions for practicing #TouchTyping in #Japanese (at the kana level, JLPT N4/N5, or primary school level) please?

First impressions of https://japanesetypingpractice.com/ are much better - not as pretty, but it seems to work with the IME on, or supports various romanisations - which is where Kana-dojo failed.

@argv_minus_one Despite I've remapped CapsLock key to left Ctrl — I'm still using CapsLock function (remapped to LShift+RShift) every day.

With touch typing it is necessary to enable CapsLock when typing something only with capital letters. Instead, it will be a crazy juggling with both Shift keys and letter keys   – switching between LShift for HJKL and the RShift for ASDFG (see the picture) all the time

I learned touchtyping at schools with typewriter. So basically I have no any tips at all. But I remember the typewriter keys at the time were very heavy.

It was much heavier than current computer keyboard. It made the computer keys to be very soft and easy to press.

May be you want to give it a try.
