Hastin#TheMuppetShow was delightful. Writing and tone has me excited for RnRC, hopefully there's a good queue video of bits.
The broadcast version had a couple of short ad breaks, but there was the long form "world of worlds" Walt Disney World ad - if only there was an attraction based on this show.

I did watch the 2026 TV special of The Muppet Show with the special guest star, Sabrina Carpenter! 😀 I recommend to give this a watch (if you have a Disney+ subscription, or if you have a Disney+/Hulu + Live TV subscription, as well as cable subscription, if you pre-recorded the special).

John SchragI’m watching the new Muppet Show (with guest star Sabrina Caroenter). It’s exactly like the original Muppet Show, with somewhat better production values. I really thought there would have been more of an update (in the humour particularly). The main difference I noticed was humans in the audience (including a big name cameo). Clearly they’re going for nostalgia, but I don’t think that’s a good long-term strategy.
I was very fond of the original when I was young. If you were, too, you’ll probably enjoy the special — but I was hoping for more.
