As I wasn’t very fond of La vita e bella, I’m not fond of this one either. For separate reasons, but partly the same reasons. The emotions were a bit off imho. It was a boring narrative structure without a deus ex machina at the end. The father figure deserved some cathartic outcome… David Thewlis reminding me of his Naked character also did not help me. Could not shake it of!
