A wet day, so I wandered into the Tavistock Heritage Centre. It's in the former police station and incorporates the old courtroom.

It's really good! There's information about mining in the region, the growth of the town, and its previously underappreciated maritime links.

If ever you find yourself in #Tavistock, and looking for a good café, I highly recommend Molly's, by the pannier market. Even more importantly, *avoid* Drake's, especially if you're a cyclist! The coffee at Drake's is dire, and they don't like cyclists. #CoffeeTip
