Central Park - WillCycle
How do those work? Ever watched the original Tron film? Seen the light-racer game?
One of the games is similar: there are some waypoints all players need to visit, and each player can see the route taken by each other player.
You have to try to reach each waypoint without crossing the line any other player cycled. If you do cross their line, you incur a time penalty.
The game is less about speed, and more about strategy.
Click Games on the site menu, for a detailed description of each game.
Remember I talked about all those traffic-free route guides on the site? You can navigate any of them, directly from the app. Simply select and go, and have the app guide you.
The app will tell you about the wind speed and direction, and that will update periodically, depending on your route and the weather.
The app will also warn you of rain ahead, based on rain radar data, and it accounts for your speed and direction.
And all that is before we get into the treasure hunts along a growing number of routes. Or the #FairyTrail interactive mini adventures along some routes. Those are aimed at people going cycling with young kids.
