#Auckland has the only red warning - for wind
The entire east coast of the north island sees orange rain warnings, with a strong wind watch in #Tairāwhiti as well.
There’s heavy swells expected, especially towards the Wairarapa, as well.
Eastern #Marlborough joins in the Orange rain warning, and #Otautahi #Christchurch is on a rain watch overnight.

There is a break in the main water supply from the dams to the water treatment plant, so please conserve water - essential use only.
The break will be assessed in the morning, weather permitting, and further instructions issued as needed.
They’re continuing to have issues with the text warning system, so the request to evacuate if you’re a low lying area has been reiterated.
