Relatively recent terrain project: a mech-height T-wall – hostile outwards, with a peaceful fake landscape for the people inside.
In 6mm scale, this thing is 6cm tall. Comes to a height of approximately 18m.

Started on a little pallet cleanser as I work on part of the modular ruined farmhouse terrain that came with my Battle of the Bulge starter for #boltaction and I expect to have done soon.
A closer look at the plinth itself of this fallen statue.
The statue's feet remain atop, the legs breaking for some reason in the past.
Posters and items of tribute surround the plinth.
But where a dedication should be written, someone has obscured what was there and replaced it with a chaos emblem.
Is this a clue to who damaged the statue, or who attacked the barricade? Maybe both...

A final look at the UFO crash.
The concrete fence is mostly layered plastic sheets, except for the scattered broken pieces which are plaster pieces that I snapped to give realistic breaks.
I spent a long time considering where the scattered pieces would be after the crash, as well as damage to the existing wall from shrapnel.
Inside there's some fun posters and boxed toilet that was knocked over.

Scale photos of the multi-ped forklift with an Infinity mini'.
Due to the size of the forklift it required a ladder for an operator to access the cab. However as the cab and legs rotate with repect to each other it became 2 ladders.
And that became 3 sections of ladder.
Made from plastic-rods and sprue pieces.

The final few photos of "Crash!".
From above you can see more of what was the building: Protected by what remains of an interior wall you find some floorboards that are not covered with rubble.
And was the window boarded up before or after the crash?
The last of the Junkube.
For painting, I picked out certain items with strong colours to emphasise the collection of random pieces of junk.
Many of the metal parts are fairly clean, maybe something to do with how this thing works/operates, but there is some light weathering.
The arcs are painted in electric blue with some suble OSL.
The interior of the Hut on Mound contains shelves and tables full of things and a central cupboard that hides a secret for later.
The doors slide within guide rails along the top and to either side of the doorway.
The side-tables were placed to cast interesting shadows from the lights onto the tissue windows.
And the shelf unit... I just filled it with all kinds of stuff to look like a valuable collection.
