I also installed a LED at the back of the Mirkwood Book Nook.

So there is a mysterious light deeper into the wood, it's probably elves... probably.

Around the back of the "Refinery?" a small mass of cables and pipes join the main building to the external grey block.

Like most of the build it was an exercise in making it look complicated, but realistic.

I made a few scatter terrain pieces to go with the workshop.

A set of crates, using my box kits, and a couple of pallets with various cardboard boxes.

All with cloth/tarp covers. I painted the inside/outside of the cloth different colours so that it's obvious how they are folded back.

The last couple of angles of the N-gauge train display base.

I used foam to make some bushes under the platform, there's also some spare sleepers under there.

The length of track is part of a bent and broken piece, repaired for this purpose.

The ballast is activated carbon from water filers that I had around for tarmac uses.

And the grass is a piece of flocked paper I found along with the trains. Plus some of my own static grass.

More from the Dredge boat diorama.

The boat started as a cardboard skeleton that I then skinned with plastic.
I then cut off the bottom half when I realised that it's going to be immersed in water.

The upper parts are mostly plastic and epoxy putty.

Dredge boat diorama.

Based on the basic boat from Dredge.
I don't know much about the game really, I've only played the first few days.

I was also a good boy and returned to port before dark. But I get the impression that something like this could happen.

Perhaps not quite a #Mermay depending on how you see mermaids, but it is a water-based creature at least. And still technically May. That's the closest I'm likely to get.

Some more of the cartoon concept tractor model.

Painting was obviously based on a John Deere tractor, and the windows are painted as if reflecting the surrounding field and clear blue sky.

A final look at the UFO crash.

The concrete fence is mostly layered plastic sheets, except for the scattered broken pieces which are plaster pieces that I snapped to give realistic breaks.

I spent a long time considering where the scattered pieces would be after the crash, as well as damage to the existing wall from shrapnel.

Inside there's some fun posters and boxed toilet that was knocked over.

Some final shots of the Noisy Cricket prop replica.

With and without paint.

You can see the wood at the trigger, but this was used as the base for the whole shape.
White and black are plastic.
Yellow and green are different mixes of epoxy putty.

Scale photos of the multi-ped forklift with an Infinity mini'.

Due to the size of the forklift it required a ladder for an operator to access the cab. However as the cab and legs rotate with repect to each other it became 2 ladders.
And that became 3 sections of ladder.

Made from plastic-rods and sprue pieces.
