And here is the M8 Greyhound I speed painted with the decals on. There are a few things I think I could do better that did not get done as well as I hoped in the #speedpainting but that’s okay, I got another one in my backlog I can try again with.
As always happy to hear your feedback!
Took some lessons from doing quick scenery pieces this year and challenged myself to a paint it quick challenge for a vehicle. So I took my M8 Greyhound for #boltaction and gave myself an hour to paint this up using some “slap chop” techniques. Now it is ready for decals.
Will it win me any painting competitions? No. Will it look pretty decent on the tabletop though? Yup! I think it will look better with the decals. More incoming!
Let’s get a little more historical as I finished my first batch of the Winter ‘44 US Army infantry for #boltaction with the next batch started and on the way. Hope you all like them, and of course I am happy to hear any feedback.

I printed a Renault FT from Counlane Models
I can wax lyrical about this little thing, it represents the first real paradigm shift in armoured fighting vehicle design and defined what the tank was
There are tanks before the Renault FT, and tanks after it, just like with the T34 and the T54
Feel like I have a lot more to say about this little beauty
My past few days of hobby have been quite short bursts due to a bug, I am a proper wuss and a cold utterly hits me for six
But I have gotten the case for the early war Germans printed
Though with all the new stuff I want to add it might become a double one
Vehicles, I am not sure how to deal with those, I might get some foam and cut out spaces for them in the drawers
Some transfers for my Bolt Action German tanks from Pendraken
Though weirdly despite being posted from Middlesbrough, they came via Wales and Manchester, sometimes Royal Mail can be very weird
A win do me tonight in Bolt Action, 8-1 against David and his Commonwealth army
My light mortar and Panzer 38 (t) were my MVPs, with the snipers helping out a lot
And because I have this idea for a list that is quite heavy with early war armour, a second Panzer I, machine guns are useful after all!
I need a tank killer, and I can’t make my mind up between some PAK 36s or this Panzerjäger I, painted it up, so I have options
Either way, with my army being early war, they will struggle against the mid and late war tanks
