The last of the Junkube.
For painting, I picked out certain items with strong colours to emphasise the collection of random pieces of junk.
Many of the metal parts are fairly clean, maybe something to do with how this thing works/operates, but there is some light weathering.
The arcs are painted in electric blue with some suble OSL.

And not only are the arms and legs posable, so to is the "tail".
One final look at the Quake Fiend... as it looks back at you with hunger in it's eyes...
The interior of the Hut on Mound contains shelves and tables full of things and a central cupboard that hides a secret for later.
The doors slide within guide rails along the top and to either side of the doorway.
The side-tables were placed to cast interesting shadows from the lights onto the tissue windows.
And the shelf unit... I just filled it with all kinds of stuff to look like a valuable collection.

It was tricky to get good shots around the bear's bulky form.
Moving inside the Sprue Hut, the broken corner is not being overcome with plants (made using a technique I found on the internet).
Further inside we find a table and small bench. A suspicious stain is accompanied by some bottles.

Before crafting this, I didn't know what the "rear" of one of these looked like, now you all have to know.

Why a bare head? His helmet was damaged and lies discarded on the base.

The last few photos of the Alien eggs.
Just in time for happy chocolate egg day.
While no chocolate, these eggs come with a free hug.
Plus an extra scale photo with a Tyranid Warrior, for those that know of these things.
Flying above the CD-City is an advertising blimp.
Clearly inspired by those seen in Blade Runner.
I tried various ways to attach the blimp, some more/less visible, and a range of sturdiness.
I opted for a sturdy clear plastic rod that is held in place with a magnet. This allows it to be removed for transport and the like.
