Here's a better look at the chaos cultists squad. I played around with different skintones here. I'd started painting these with blue wraps when I remembered that the Firebrand was going to be Zorn palette so I made sure half of them got brown instead.
The Cultist Firebrand is the other model I started for #fedipaint. I used the same paints as I did on the marauder that I entered, but added some metallic paints to fit in with my other cultists, as well as some fluorescent orange for the flame and the base.
Had a go at quickly painting my first ever necron models tonight (just five colors and a 'sonic-tonic/marine-juice' wash over the top).
And for a super quick paint job, I kinda like how they're turning out (though I might tidy up a few areas tomorrow, and then do the bases).

Good: Got a 54mm Inquisitor Eisenhorn miniature quite cheap. Arrived today. And it doesn't appear to be a recast.
Bad: Didn't come with a base (which I knew). So now I'm weighing up a) buy simple 40mm bases along with spray paint and a couple of other bits that I need, b) buy Zone Mortalis bases for £12 and have loads of spares or c) get a few nice resin bases from a printer on Etsy for about £8 plus postage 🤔
