Significant performance improvements coming up in the next build. Working the cache layer much more heavily and leveraging Supabase image transforms to fetch resized images (eg. for thumbnails).

Also adjusted paint mixes to use parts instead of percentages.

#HobbyStreak day 1300 (yesterday)

took my eldest to my mum for some quiet time while her siblings had a birthday party which would be full of noisy kids.

Brought my #BloodBowl greebo undead, paints & brushes & I did some #MiniaturePainting with an impromptu wet palette. Had hoped to paint some more last night but crashed out with fatigue.

Excited for the new box set this summer, so I grabbed a Blood Angel off the shelf to test speed paint technique for the troops.

If I get a good routine in place for the Intercessors, Vanguard, and Eradicators, then I can put focused effort into the four characters.

This state took about an hour, starting from primed and quickly covered in dark red Speed Paint.

I allowed myself to subscribe to the new Age of Sigmar partworks magazine, but only if I kept up with the painting. Before the next delivery, the previous one must be painted. Due to how I subbed, I got six magazines at once, so I have 13 miniatures to paint before the end of May in addition to my normal painting plans. Quick and a little dirty, but that's the first 8 done.
