"Ach, wie gut, dass niemand weiß,..."

This is the second diorama I made for the #bembelminiaturecup26 and this one was a pain in the @$$ 🙄. Here's what happened:

I started building the base and when I got in to glue the single gems ind the cave I soon noticed that I forgot the weight of the stones. So the whole thing started to fall backwards 😭 so I started improvising 🫣

"The last of it's kind"

As some of you may know, at the beginning of march I mustered up all my courage and participated in my very first competition, the Bembel Miniature Cup, after only 4 months in this hobby. This is one of three entries I contributed in the category "Expression Standard".

Everything started with DnD and I soon knew that I wanted to make dioramas. So as soon as I've seen this mini I knew it deserved his story to be told.

Here are the final pictures of my statue mini 📸

It's my second Synoria mini from @dm.stash that I painted and the both have total different vibes. For this one I chose a statue look and a rose garden diorama. She will only be used as display and appreciated every day! The other one will be played in our campaigns – it's important to always have more possibilities 🤭

Lucky deal with the tiefling devil? 💰️

For this tiefling miniature from @dm.stash I used a dark and cool color palette using greenish and blueish tones and silver for the highlights to make it look more elegant. I was thinking of basing with lava but then I wanted to make it look that he walks overground on earth looking for his next victim to deal with.

This mimic outhouse out of the DnD series "Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures" was pretty fun to paint! I NEEDED to add saliva, because it just looks juicy...

Created the base with sand, stone and moss.
