I was going to ping @erikcats but I don't have their new acct in my follows, so I'll use #nerdlings to ask for thoughts and recommendations 🤔 Not going for a diorama, just something very different from BT and tanks that I usually splash paints at 🤔
Finally took photos of yesterday's completed mini. You can see on the back of the cloak, those white ashy spots. They developed in the same areas where I had more defined shadows (I'm still practicing shadows/highlights). So where I was pretty happy with how I did the shadows, the varnish decided to leave behind white residue in the same areas undoing my work. This was a full 24 hours after I had done the shadows so nothing was wet.
Meh...It's painted and overall I'm happy with it. Still working on highlighting confidence but that's practice and I'm not shying away from it anymore, but I'm also not bold ;-)
