I don't think I will buy a non-retractable fountain pen ever again. All my writing is note taking, annotating or list making/crossing. Uncapping and capping a pen for these short tasks is simply impractical for me.
My favorite non-retractable is Twisbi Eco. I hope they make a retractable fountain pen sometime. 🤞

I had to block someone because I don’t like TWISBIs.
Sure it’s slightly pot-stirring to say you don’t like a cult pen company.
I don't love writing with them and I've gotten a couple lemons. I don't like the way they look. It's not the pen for me. I don't think they're that great.
But why would you go beyond “lol”?
All gear-geek communities are like this and I keep forgetting.

trachelipusI tried popping a Monaggio international short cartridge into a new unused TWISBI. The cartridge wouldn't seat. It writes nicely now that all the ink has leaked out of the cartridge and is sloshing around the barrel. The new TWISBI's predecessor was bad out of box...or was it? I had tried setting it up using a Diamine cartridge that also wouldn't seat. Maybe idiot me broke it by forcing the cartridge. Hmm is it time to try bottled ink using the included converter? #FountainPen #TWISBI
