Overview Located at the southern end of the Middle Peninsula in the Commonwealth of Virginia is the community known as Gloucester Point, notable for a military presence on the north side of the York River in the general vicinity of the region known as Hampton Roads. I recently bumped into the word "methodology" again. I hate this word. I've hated this word since I first bumped into it during my first summer as a co-op working in an R&D center in the sweltering summer of '88 in #Tidewater #Virginia. The suffix "-ology" means "the study of", e.g., "biology" is the study of life. Clearly #methodology is, or should be, the study of methods.

Alas, no.

In our ongoing effort to explore local #food, we bought a box of #Yock today from the second best yock shop in #Hampton. (The #1 place sells it on Tuesdays only.) As you can see, it’s traditionally served in a plastic bag. Yock-a-mein is as delicious as it looks, so we only managed a couple bites each.
