Overview Located at the southern end of the Middle Peninsula in the Commonwealth of Virginia is the community known as Gloucester Point, notable for a military presence on the north side of the York River in the general vicinity of the region known as Hampton Roads. A similar universal public sector collective bargaining bill passed the General Assembly in 2025 but was vetoed by then-Gov. Youngkin. Gov. Spanberger is more likely to sign. So far the bill has passed out of its house subcommittee and senate subcommittee.
