New and Old

The spire of St Botolph's Aldgate church against modern skyscrapers, including 30 St Mary Axe ("the Gherkin") and the Leadenhall Building ("the Cheesegrater").

The current church building dates back to the mid 1700s, although it was significantly restored after it was damaged during World War 2. I don't think any of the skyscrapers is more than twenty years old.
