#OnThisDay 28Dec1821 Champion of England Tom CRIBB is arrested on a ‘peace warrant’ after allegedly threatening to throw the proprietor of the Tennis Courts, Mr S.W. HUNT under a wagon & give his son a punch in the mouth. CRIBB was discharged after HUNT was unable to prove his claim.
