The only race renewables are winning worldwide is the eugenics race. It's overwhelmingly wealthy white people who receive the grants, subsidies and benefits of renewables whilst those who need energy justice most are victims of #SlowViolence

#ClimateDiary now read that indeed it’s been really difficult for a lot of #Hajj Pilgrims in 48°C, with many suffering #Heatstrokes and 230 dying. There are of course many other contributing factors, as always - age, heart disease etc. - but the extreme heat can’t have helped. Heat is #SlowViolence #SilentViolence
