ok next shower thought. I would love to read an article about "why production code will always look ugly". Imho this doesn't mean ugly in the sense of not appealing in some sections but more about that the very nature of our world and processes and stuff around it is ugly. Just imagine all the error handling you have to add so that a service is resilient. This makes imho the code ugly cause you are most of the time defining what the programm is NOT supposed to be doing instead of what it should do. Is that just my perception? #showerthought #dev

Funny how mastodon is the only social media that is social on his main feature. Like, I talk to people on instagram or tiktok, but the main thing is just a cursed page full of suggestion posts crafted to make me a prisonner of the app.

Here I can talk without so much noise.

Mastodon feels like a discord server where you don't know the people, but you know they're cool and you actually can talk to them.
