Caveat Emptor...

I recently crossed a toll bridge in a rental car, paying with the car's E-ZPass. Just got the bill:

Bridge Toll: $7

Rental Car Co. Service charge: $4.95

Total: $11.95

A 70% commission on a toll seems steep, especially since the $7 covers actually *building* the bridge.

*Note: There was no cash lane available. Had no choice but to use the rental E-ZPass.
