They're talking about tipping and service charges in restaurants on #BBC Breakfast. Whether people are for or against and whether it might be mandatory.
No one has asked or mentioned why restaurants don't add the service charge to the prices of their meals so they do have to add on extra fees to the bill?
It's curious why they don't just do that and I think there's probably some kind of loophole or profiting thing the owners benefit from by having the charge separate.
