Reflecting a general EU move to shift away from dependence on US Big Tech, this is a shift many would like to see also undertaken by the UK Govt., not least as a way of boosting local (domestic) software innovation.

It is finally time to completely free yourself from these Google products and go independent ways so that something like this cannot happen at all. So it takes alternative operating systems such as Linux for the cell phone.
Because this dependence on the large corporations does not lead to anything good who want to tear everything itself anyway and don't get enough of it.
