Katz Castle - also known as Neukatzenelnbogen Castle - in St. Goarshausen (Rhine-Lahn district / Rhineland-Palatinate), close to the Loreley, was built by the Counts of Katzenelnbogen around 1360 to 1371. Not far away another castle exists under the name Maus Castle (Katz= cat, Maus=mouse).
