**We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.** This is Riverhead's third No Kings, assembling the East End's largest protests, the first at the Suffolk County Supreme Court and the second on Route 58. We will return to the Court for a rally at 1:30 p.m. Feeder marches begin at 12:00 noon and 12:30, passing by Town Hall to demand our local government control ICE. An inspiring signed vigil will reach out to drivers on Route 58 near Harrison Avenue beginning at 12 noon, then join students from Riverhead High School at 12:30 to march to Town Hall. A second feeder march from downtown is planned. Participants from earlier No Kings events on the East End are invited to join individually or by caravan in a collaborative non-partisan East End rally at the historic Court House. (https://downtownriverhead.org/stop-35) Organizations and individuals wanting to cosponsor the event and join with a broadly based planning committee should contact riverheadnokings@gmail.com Cosponsors and Endorsers (list in formation) : Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Greenport Indivisible North Fork ACLU of Suffolk County Unitarian Universalists of Southold *************** What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence. On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Join us on Saturday March 28th in Riverhead as we stand together to say: No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has grown into a sustained national movement. People across the country are rising up to defend our communities and stop attacks on our rights and freedoms. From small towns to major cities, communities are standing together to demand justice and accountability. At a time when families are under pressure and communities are under attack, silence is not an option. This peaceful protest and march is our chance to come together, raise our voices, and show the strength of people united. Bring your energy, your signs, and your voices—let’s make it loud, visible, and impossible to ignore. IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ We’re expecting a large, energized crowd, so please arrive early and be ready to march together. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time (8:30 AM) to allow time for parking at the County Center and gathering before we begin. Ample parking is available in the County Center parking lot. PLEASE NOTE: This event includes a march through the town of Riverhead with a police escort assisting at road crossings. Because of this, the march will leave promptly. If you miss the march departing from the County Center, you will NOT be able to join once it is underway, as the police will not be able to make multiple crossings for late arrivals. If you arrive after the march departs, you’re still encouraged to stay at the County Center and continue protesting on the sidewalk, and help welcome the marchers back when they return. Let’s show up strong, stay organized, and look out for one another so we can make our voices heard and keep building momentum together. This event is cohosted by Indivisible Long Island, East End Visibility Brigade and other committed, local activists. For additional questions, please email: IndivisibleLI2025@gmail.com Also check out our website and follow us on social: www.IndivisibleLI.org https://www.facebook.com/IndivisibleLongIsland Indivisible Long Island is powered entirely by volunteers. Every rally, march, and action is organized by people stepping up to defend our communities and our democracy. Wonder how you might respond if a Trump supporter gets in your face? What are the steps to follow if you see someone getting detained by ICE or some other apparent federal law enforcement? What are effective ways to engage with people who are “on the fence” politically? The *“Be Ready”* practice sessions give folks an opportunity to practice how to respond in difficult situations via role playing and reflective processing. The sessions are held twice monthly, after every Wednesday Action Group meeting. We start around 12:10pm. We meet upstairs in the sanctuary, accessible from the Cherry Street parking lot. Please park on the street or in the lot north of the building -- the lot at Eastern and Cherry is for another property. Please reserve the parking lot for those that need closer access.

For No Kings III we are bringing our community together again to reject authoritarianism - just as all Americans have since 1776. Like No Kings and No Kings II, we will bring thousands into the street in a "hands across" event accessible to everyone - from energized protestor to families enjoying a community event. While this may look like a single-day rally, are goals are more ambitious - to grow our political movement and restore democracy. That movement needs everyone - no matter their personality or personal situation. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring democracy is restored this November whether behind the scenes or on the front lines. *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
