Stop the Cruelty, Westerville · Mobilize
Stop the Cruelty: Westerville protest is at 675 Brooksedge Blvd. This is the Westerville ICE office. The nearest parking is at the Kroger strip mall on Schrock Rd. We also have a group that goes down to the intersection of Schrock and Brooksedge and some of us are visiting 774 Park Meadow Rd., because ICE is renting an office for its legal team in that building.
We provide the signs, which have red lettering on a white background and say, “Stop the Cruelty.” We all use the same sign to maximize visual impact. We are a silent protest, although we do talk among ourselves. We have a policy of not hassling ICE officers who wander by. Anger and resentment are Donald Trump's tools, they're not ours. Everyone is welcome!

Concerned about proposed cuts to Social Security services? Appalled by the abduction and renditioning of legal immigrants? Outraged by the theft of our private information? Generally dumbfounded by the chaotic combination of evil and incompetence coming from the White House? Make up a sign and let people know!
Thousands of cars pass through this intersection during rush hour every weekday. And the intersection is surrounded by the public Village Green Park on all four sides, giving us lots of room to hold signs protesting the ongoing destruction of our democracy by the Trump/DOGE administration.
Organized by the Worthington Area Democratic Club and Westerville Progressive Alliance.
Parking: On-street parking is limited around this intersection, but there is plenty of public parking nearby. Use the municipal lot on the east side of High Street south of the Village Green, or the municipal lot west of High Street (enter off New England Ave.). Other parking is available behind the Worthington Library and Kilbourne Middle School (enter both lots off Hartford St.). Lots for the Worthington Presbyterian Church (at the northwest corner of the Village Green) and the Worthington United Methodist Church (on the east side of High St. south of Short St.) are also options.

Protest Citizens Bank - 1515 Market Street · Mobilize
Citizens Bank has long financed private prison and detention facility companies even though there have been years of allegations of forced labor, healthcare neglect, and other abuses. Citizens is a lender to companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group, which have caused widespread, documented harm to people in their facilities.
Here in Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast. When people in our communities are abducted by ICE, they are usually taken to Moshannon.
Join us to tell Citizens Bank that we want them to stop supporting this cruelty. We will protest peacefully with signs on the sidewalk outside the branch and we will have handouts for passersby, to tell them about Citizens' support of abusive detention facilities.
A core principle behind our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Join Mt. Airy Indivisible Neighbors at the Chestnut Hill Citizens Bank branch at the Corner of Germantown Avenue and Bethlehem Pike on Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 AM as we come together in communities across Pennsylvania to send a message to Citizens Bank and raise awareness in our communities about Citizen’s role in supporting immigrant detention and for-profit detention operators.
Citizens Financial Group, through subsidiaries like Citizens Bank, is one of the last major banks to finance private prison companies that are used by the Trump administration to detain and deport immigrants on a mass scale. If communities put pressure on Citizens Bank to end this financing this could halt the expansion of ICE's round-up of our immigrant neighbors.
Right here in Pennsylvania, GEO Group operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast, just three and a half hours from here.
Join us and others statewide to demand that Citizens Bank stop supporting cruelty and inform their customers of their role in supporting the fascist and racist deportation activities of ICE and the Trump administration.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
