2) Time with spouse to plan our June trip to #Japan. We have never been, but between growing with her best childhood friend’s Japanese family, and my #Aikido addiction, we both have longstanding desire to go.
3) Coincidentally, spouse met a Japanese tourist in the #SFBotanicalGarden last week who initiated a connection. That nice woman owns a vegan cafe in #Shinjuku we plan to visit! (https://yelp.to/RufyfqEUV7)

It has been an amazing week so far at Flower Piano in the San Francisco Botanical Garden, seeing friends old and new, reveling in the joy of musicmaking and community connections at the 10-year milestone of this wonderful tradition.

This Saturday, I am delighted to return to the Moon Viewing Garden to share some beautiful music by Johann Sebastian Bach, in honor of the maestro's 340th birthday earlier this year. If you happen to be at the Garden this Saturday Sept. 20 at 4:00 p.m., please drop by!

1) The avocado toast at #Tartine on 9th Ave near #GoldenGatePark in #SF is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. and there’s a lot of fancy food around here.
2) Afternoon wander with spouse & kiddo through the #SFBotanicalGarden. Kiddo insisted I take a photo of these #fungi (big fan).
3) Rare head boops from the #tortie girl cat this evening!

1) Spouse suggested we all go back this afternoon to the #SFBotanicalGarden. Perfect for restoration of the soul. Much needed!
2) Kiddo interviewed me for a HS freshman oral history project. She composed and asked some really interesting questions - about what it was like working in hospital supply chain as Covid broke out! (Oof.)
3) We binged the first six episodes of #Undone. Impressed so far.

1) Spent a misty December afternoon with kiddo & spouse at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. #sfbotanicalgarden Kiddo announced “Father. [Actually says that - go figure] I must live here immediately.” “But you do.” “But it takes 15 minutes to get here!”
2) The best avocado toast I have ever tasted at #Tartine on 9th Ave. (May be the bread, may be added butter.)
3) In spite of annual seasonal anxiety, had a really lovely day with the family.
