Almost brown in colour (2018 vintage) and taste wise, I'd describe it as spicy and peppery. I never tried Campi Flegrei but I did spot it on the wine bible map and I’m intrigued. As far as I know that area has fumarole thus stink of sulfur. I wonder how that affects the #wine flavour. Going to Italy back home for Xmas now, planning to try #Ormeasco, #Rossese di Dolceacqua and #Timorasso from #CollineTortonesi.
@dlupham @AlexGBardsley I'm from east coast of #Liguria, on our side of the region you'll find #Vermentino #Albarola for the #whitewine and #Ciliegiolo or #VermentinoNero for #redwines. From west coast there's also #Pigato (w) and #Rossese (r). I particularly liked #CantineLunae from #Luni, their Vermentino w and r are fenomenal #wine #winelover #winegeek #winetasting #italianwine
